Cosmopolitan gives "Quick Beauty Tips" and these are the Mary Kay products you'll use to make them happen for you!
1. "Wake up and glow." Use the Mary Kay Subtle Tanning Lotion every couple of days to keep that sunkissed look without the UV damage to your skin. You can apply this to body and to face. I have pretty pale skin and I use this twice a week on my body; the color looks very natural on me. To reduce the chance of streaks, first exfoliate your skin to get dead skin cells off (they absorb more tanner than fresh skin and will look darker, and then the slough off and you may have paler patches because the cells under the dead skin didn't receive the tanner). To cleanse and exfoliate your body in one step, try Mary Kay Loofah Body Cleanser in either Lotus and Bamboo or Red Tea and Fig. To exfoliate your face, try TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser in either Normal/Dry or Combo/Oily; this cleanses, exfoliates and freshens your face in one step. Or use both steps of the Mary Kay Microdermabrasion set. After exfoliating my body, I mix together in my hand my body lotion and my subtle tanning lotion, and apply them together methodically. For face, I would mix together my face moisturizer and tanning lotion. Start with a small amount of tanner and build your color over a week rather than trying to slather it on. This also helps avoid streaks.
2. "Pare down your face routine." Cover any imperfections with a tiny dab of concealer. To get multiple benefits in one product, try the Mary Kay Tinted Moisturizers. They supply moisture, SPF 20, and a summery light hint of foundation color.
3. "Use "pretty" powder." Mineral powder foundations are quick and easy to use, give you a smooth air-brushed look, have buildable coverage, are transfer resistant, and help hide lines, wrinkles and imperfections.
4. "Don't go crazy with tons of colors." Every quarter, Mary Kay showcases four "Color 101 Looks" that are made to go together. Try one of them out!
5. "Easy evening tricks!" Cosmo says "dark lipstick" (berries, chocolates, red), "a sexy streak of violet eyeliner, and matte bronzer" (for ivory/beige skin; for beige/bronze skin)
6. When it's time to take it all off, use a eye makeup remover and a cleansing cloth.
