Frontier Culture Museum

In September we visited the Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia. It was a pretty warm day, so we decided to have some extra fun by renting a golf cart to haul us around the mile-long path.

First was the German buildings. I love the different colors of plaster on their barns:
There were some fancy German chickens pecking around. They bobble their heads when the walk...very cute.
Inside the house there was a sample of hand-made linen.
The English house was closed b/c it was being fumagated!
The little white sign on the wall there says "Danger, Peligro! Fumagation".
The American farm had cute sheep, and a beautiful white horse.

The blacksmith showed us how he was making some nails.
