Book review: Flipping Out by Marshall Karp
The pros: This is a wonderful combination of murder mystery and police procedural. The action is fast-paced, with delightful twists and turns. I devoured the book in one sitting. There are lots of puns, making the dialog witty and funny. Highly enjoyable!
The cons: Language. Cops are supposed to be crude, right?

Lynellen, thanks for the review, both here and on amazon. Loved the pros, and would like to make a comment on the cons: the language. Yeah it's crude. But not as crude as it used to be.
In fact I wrote blog about profanity in books where your two heroes are LAPD homicide detectives.
