The author, Julie Fortune, did an outstanding job here. The dialog is nearly perfect for the voices of Jack, Daniel, and Teal'c. Perhaps a bit off for Sam, but very close. The story is told almost entirely from Jack's point of view, yet with the wide-eyed wonder that Daniel expresses for the culture. I found the pace to be very good, and in fact could hardly put the book down. Highly recommended for fans who miss SG-1.
