Personality DNA
Beth heard about this quiz from Dane Bramage.
Overall I really enjoy working with Beth and spending time with her. Recently I've been reflecting that she and I are really really really different. I used to know this keenly, but over the last few years I had come to believe we were really similar.... it was a warm comfy feeling that made me feel that I was understood. Some recent events and some of these silly personality tests have awakened me to the fact that Beth and I are really really really different.
As you'll see in the "DNA" strip above (hold your mouse over each color stipe), I rate high on the "masculine" scale and low on the "feminine". This result has been true for decades ... in Psych 101 in college, we took a masculine/feminine sorter test and I came out highly masculine then too. The problem then was that the professor made comments about that in front of the class ... it was humiliating. I keep asking myself how to integrate these scores into my self-concept.
