It seems to me that there is a design flaw in the bridge spanning Lake Pontchartrain. In this photo, every other section is damaged or missing. Ok, gone, ok, half in the water, ok, gone, ok, moved 5 feet to the right, ok, gone, ok, gone, ok, etc. What was it about those sections that was poorly designed? Why isnt the damage uniform for all sections?

It looks uniform, every other section seems to be in the water. At least they were consistant in their crappy workman ship.
